My day for this wedding begins at Mary's home, where she's just finished at the hairdresser when I arrive. Mary is assisted by her mother in putting on the dress. After a while, Tim arrives for that beautiful first moment; the first look, which will take place in their backyard. After a brief toast and confetti cannon from the neighbors, Tim and Mary hop on the cargo bike to head to the wedding venue, Fort Fier.
Upon arrival, we first take some wedding photos of the whole family at Fier, but then I take them for a short walk on the Heath to capture beautiful wedding portraits. It's a very practical location for wedding photos, just a few minutes' drive from Fier and with plenty of variety in the surroundings. From beautiful vistas to wooded areas, it's stunning.
Upon return, it's time for the ceremony. All guests are warmly welcomed and seated outside by the Poterne of the fort. It's a personal ceremony with lots of laughter, and after the vows, the kiss, and the signatures, everyone moves towards 'the tree' to toast to the love of this couple. There's laughter, hugs, and delicious food. Of course, the necessary speeches are also given during the reception and dinner.
The wedding concludes with a fantastic party that starts with a children's disco. Tim and Mary are serenaded by friends and family, and after an hour of dancing, it's time for me to pack up my gear.
Tim and Mary, you make such a beautiful couple! Thank you very much for allowing me to capture this wedding for you, and on behalf of Quinn, thank you for the wonderful tow truck and book! He's over the moon with it!
