We start this wedding directly with a walk through the Hoge Bergse Bos to take wedding photos. Now this 'forest' doesn't quite live up to its name, because it's pretty high (for Dutch standards), but it's not really a real forest. The Berschenhoek lookout tower is a really cool location with a beautiful view and the short walk afterwards also provides some beautiful images of this couple. But because it's 30+ degrees that day, we decide not to push it too much and go early to Landgoed Vidaa to get married.
It's a warm, very warm day in August. So the fans that have been arranged for the guests are very welcome and help with a little cooling. Still, the heat cannot dampen the fun and a beautiful wedding ceremony follows with a lot of emotion, joy and ultimately a kiss that binds this couple in marriage.
Landgoed Vidaa is a very large area with different locations that are all connected to each other. So for the reception, everyone moves to a location on the other side of the water, where the couple is received with an honorary guard and a lot of bubbles. A relaxed reception follows and after a few hours of laughing and relaxing, it cools down a bit and it's time to move to the place where the BBQ will take place.
Daniëlle and Yew Cho have made a real playground of it and prepared a lot of games so that guests can also have fun with some old-fashioned pastime before and after dinner. After the delicious BBQ in the forest, there are a number of speeches and beautiful words from friends and family and just before I leave, we quickly walk around Landgoed Vidaa to take beautiful wedding photos.
Upon returning, it's dark and I leave the couple and guests alone to continue playing and eating marshmallows until late at night.
What an amazing wedding at Landgoed Vidaa, thank you for letting me capture this for you Daniëlle and Yew Cho!!
